SL vs IND 2nd ODI live streaming: The second ODI of the India tour of Sri Lanka 2024 is scheduled to be played on August 4 in R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Ahead of the game, the host Sri Lanka has been struck with another tragedy as their prime spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has been ruled out of the ODI series with a hamstring injury.
In the first ODI vs India, W Hasaranga scored 24 runs off 35 balls assisting Dunith Wellalage in Sri Lanka’s fightback with the bat and bagged three wickets for 58 runs in his allotted 10 overs. His three wickets include the dismissal of Virat Kohli(24) and KL Rahul(31).
SLC named 34-year-old legspinner Jeffrey Vandersay as Hasaranga’s replacement for the final two ODIs.
The second game of the series will begin at 2:30 PM IST, Local/09:00 AM GMT, with the toss 30 minutes earlier.
