SL vs IND 1st ODI live streaming – When and Where to Watch

SL vs IND 1st ODI live streaming: The much-awaited ODI series of the India tour of Sri Lanka 2024 is set to kick start on August 2 in R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The expectation for this game hits its high as the match will see the return of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in Indian gear.

Right after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, the duo announced their T20I retirement which made them skip the recently concluded 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka which India won by 3-0 under new captain Suryakumar Yadav.

Along with Rohit and Virat, this three-match ODI series will also see the return of KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant. Notably, Pant played his last ODI match almost two years ago. With Pant’s recent form in the T20I format, he remains a tough competitor for KL Rahul for the wicket-keeper position in the ODI format.

On the other hand, the hosts will play their first match of the ODI series without the key pacers.

Post the T20I series, Dilshan Madushanka and Matheesha Pathirana have been ruled out of the ODI series owing to various injuries. Madushanka has suffered a Grade 2 injury to his left hamstring while Pathirana has injured his shoulder. Uncapped fast bowlers Mohamed Shiraz and Eshan Malinga were included in the squad a day ahead of the first game.

With much speculation around the clash, the match will kick start at 09:00 AM GMT / 02:30 PM IST, Local.
