    Scott Boland Dismisses Rishabh Pant, Nitish Reddy in Successive Balls during Sydney Test

    The Australia bowler Scott Boland has dismissed Indian wk-batter Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy in successive balls during the first innings of the fifth test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

    Australia has been entirely dominating the Indian team at Sydney as the visitors suffered early dismissals. Pant was the only scorer smashing 40 runs with Virat Kohli scoring 20 runs only.

    Boland has been terrorising the visitors with his spell picking four wickets before the end of 3rd session. Mitchell Starc and Lyon has also picked one wickets each at Sydney.

    During the 57th over, Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy has been dismissed on the successive balls in the over which left India baffled at Sydney.

    India won the toss and decided to bat against Australia in Sydney, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul opened for the tourists. The Indian openers failed to cement a soild partnership.

    Starc drew first blood as he removed KL Rahul, while Jaiswal was dismissed by Boland. Before the end of first session, Lyon dismissed a crucial wicket as he dismissed Shubman Gill for 20 runs.

    Post Lunch, Kohli failed on a delivery outside the off-stump handing Boland his second wicket after being caught by Beau Webster at third slip. After Jadeja’s dismissal for 26 runs, India lost 7 wickets for 134 runs.

    India dropped Rohit Sharma for the final test after he failed to get past 10 runs in any of his inning during the series where the hosts secured 2-1 lead.

    Australia will regain the Border Gavaskar Trophy for the first time since 2014-15 if they win or draw.
