Sam Konstas hit an unbeaten 73 runs during the second match of India A tour of Australia A 2024 and helped the side to secure six wicket victory at Melbourne.
Australia A clinched a 2-0 series sweep against India A after Webster joined Konstas at the crease to conclude the second innings on day 03 of the four day test match.
Konstas who was positioned as no.4 for the match has found himself at the crease in the first over of Australia’s second innings today, broke Prasidh Krishna who picked Marcus Harris and Cameron Bancroft in the first ball dismissals.

Resuming the day at 5/73, India A were dismissed for 229 runs losing last three wickes after lunch with Corey collected four wickets for 4/74.
25 wickets had fallen on the first two days, MCG appeared to lose it wicket taking conditions as Jurel scored 68 runs and put a 94 run partnership for sixth wickets with Nitish Reddy.
Tanush Kotian (44) and Krishna (29) and posted a 49 run partnership for the eight wickets before Konstas took catch in deep off to remove Krishna.
Australia required 167 runs to win the match whene Nathan McSweeney and Marcus opened the match.
With Prasidh Krishna dismissing Marcus and Cameron, Sam Konstats came to rescue while Nathan McSweeney scored 25 runs before dismissed by 69 deliveries.
Ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy begins on second half of November, Australia is keen on selecting a player to fill the vacant spot in the top position as Steve Smith returns to middle order in the line up.
The first match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy will begin on November 22 at Optus Stadium.
