As Williamson was injured, Gujarat Titans doesn’t have option to use it on any other player. Sai Sudharshan becomes the second player to come into the playing XI after Tushar Deshpande.

Tushar Deshpande replaced Ambati Rayudu in CSK Playing XI using the Impact Player Rule against Gujarat Titans in the first match of IPL 2023.
