On many occasions, many cricketers too touched their seniors’ feet to show respect. One such thing happened in the recently concluded IPL 2023 final, where Ruturaj Gaikwad’s fiancee touched MS Dhoni’s feet to receive blessings from the 5 times IPL title-winning captain.
In a video going viral on social media, Ruturaj Gaikwad can be seen interacting with Dhoni after the match and his fiancee Utkarsha Pawar touched Dhoni’s feet as a show of respect before the skipper hugged both of them and had a long conversation.

MS Dhoni led the Chennai Super Kings have won their 5th IPL title by beating Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 final game on May 29 in Narendra Modi Stadium.
While everyone expected that IPL 2023 might be the last season for MS Dhoni, the most successful captain gave a strong answer to the question – “Will MS Dhoni Play IPL 2024“.
Following a successful IPL 2023 campaign, MS Dhoni has undergone a knee injury which he suffered most during the season.
“Yes, Dhoni has had a successful knee surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. He is doing fine and the surgery happened in the morning. I don’t have the details. I am yet to get all the details about the nature of the surgery and other things,” CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed to PTI.
“He will be discharged in a day or two. He would be resting for a few days before his extensive rehabilitation starts. It is now expected that he would have enough time to get fit to play in the next IPL,” another source close to CSK management told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
