After failing in the bowling department, Royal Challengers Bangalore scores 79 runs in powerplay responding to SRH’s knock of 287 in the first innings.
After running a poor run in the ongoing IPL season, Bangalore were able to pull only one victory out of 6 matches they played til now. They were pushed to the bottom of the points table.
Choosing to bowl first, Bangalore plotted a low total target in the 30th match of the ongoing series at their home ground. But SRH stunned the RCB bowler by posting 287 runs which is the highest total ever in IPL history.

Coming to the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore chose to bowl first where Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head smashed an impressive score of 76 runs by the end of the powerplay during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 15 at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Batting first, the Hyderabad openers’ partnership has pressured Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bengaluru Stadium. Travis Head scored 52 runs on 21 deliveries while Abhishek scored 23 by the end of the power play.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has been aggressive in batting from the start of the tournament. The openers Travis Head and Abhishek are the leading runscorers for the side in the ongoing tournament.

Heinrich Klaasen also adopted an aggressive batting style smashing 67 runs on 31 deliveries. Travis Head was dismissed by Lockie Ferguson after his 102 runs in 41 deliveries which included 9 fours and 8 sixes.
The Economy of RCB bowlers went past 10. With Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad’s impressive scores of 32 and 37 runs, SRH was able to post 287 runs in 20 overs.
Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis opened for RCB putting a score of 79/0 in the powerplay. After Virat’s dismissal, the RCB’s batting lineup started to collapse.
Virat Kohli was dismissed for 42 runs he scored in 20 deliveries including 6 fours and two sixes. Faf du Plessis smashed fifty but with the dismissal of Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar for 7 and 9 runs, RCB started to crumble on SRH’s bowling attack.
Faf du Plessis was sent out with 62 runs by Pat Cummins where RCB was down to four for 121 runs at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
