Romario Shepherd and Rovman Powell miss Netherlands ODI series
Romario Shepherd and Rovman Powell were a part of the recently concluded IPL 2022 season. Following the conclusion of the tournament, they left for London from India to hold their visa interviews.
The board confirmed that the players have been stuck in England since arriving due to the delays in their visa procedure.
“Despite having the interviews the day after their arrival, they are both still in London awaiting the appropriate visas to be able to travel to the Netherlands,” the statement from CWI read.
Romario Shepherd and Rovman Powell will now fly out to Pakistan, where the team plays three ODI fixtures from the postponed series in 2021.
The West Indies will play the three-match ODI series on June 8, 10, and 12 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The West Indies Squad will travel from Amsterdam to Pakistan on Sunday.
