Indian cricket team all-format captain Rohit Sharma recently becomes the owner of Italian-made Lamborghini Urus.

According to multiple reports, Rohit has purchased the Lamborghini Urus in Blu Eleos Metallic colour which symbolizes Team India’s jersey of the limited-overs format.

As per reports, Rohit’s latest acquisition has cost him a whopping sum of INR 3.15 crore. Rohit, who owns a luxurious house worth INR 30 crore in Mumbai, has an expensive taste in cars. The Hitman had earlier landed a BMW M5 at a price of around INR 1.33 crore. Rohit’s all-new Urus might be his most expensive purchase in the luxury car segment.

Urus, which costs more than Rs 3.15 crore, is widely regarded as one of the most practical and luxurious vehicles ever produced by the Italian supercar manufacturer, Lamborghini. The supercar is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine which produces 650 PS of power and 850 Nm of torque and is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Its interior has a dual-tone combination of Ross Alala (cherry red) and Nero (black) to match the exterior. Black is used on the upper layer on the dashboard and door panels, and cherry red for the lower layer on the dashboard, door panels, and seats. Besides the contrast cherry red and black, there is also a silver layer flowing from the dashboard to the centre console. This is accompanied by piano black touches in the cabin.

As far as Rohit’s cricket assignments are concerned, the talismanic cricketer recently led India to a 3-0 T20I series triumph against Sri Lanka.

The series also saw Rohit becoming the most successful captain in-home T20Is, having taken India to 17 wins at home. The action now shifts towards the two-match Test series, which gets underway on March 4 in Mohali.

The series would mark Rohit’s first leadership assignment in Test matches and he’ll have a point to prove.

Notably, Virat Kohli stepped down as Test skipper following India’s 1-2 defeat against South Africa earlier this year. Hence, Rohit is now India’s all-format skipper and expectations are incredibly high from him.
