The Duo Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant remained unbeaten before lunch on day 01 of the pink-ball test. Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland rattled up India’s top order to dominate the visitors during the second test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy at Adelaide.

Mitchell Starc picked 3 wickets in 8 overs conceding 31 runs with an economy of 3.90. India are currently leading the five match series 1-0 after securing a 295-runs in the first test in Perth.
India has made three changes with bringing in Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Ashwin to the squad. Meanwhile Scott Boland has brought to the squad replacing injured Josh Hazlewood.
Australia has incredible dominant in the Day-night test format since its inceptin, winning 11 out of 12 Pink-ball tests. The sole defeat in this format occurred against the West Indies in early 2024.
Meanwhile India’s track record in Day-Nights has been notably successful, with victories in three out of their four matches using the pink ball, achieving a 75% success rate. Their sole defeat came in Adelaide last tour.
India’s victories in pink-ball matches include triumphs against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and their latest success against Australia at Eden Gardens in 2023.
Australian batters has a good record in Pink-ball tests with Marnus Labuschagne leads the pack with 894 runs in eights matches, with an impressing average of 63.85.
Meanwhile Mitchell Starc dominates the pink ball format with 66 wickets in 23 innings at an impressive strike rate of 36.5. Nathan Lyon, the second highest wicket taker after Starc stands out as the only spinner to claim more than 20 wickets in Day night tests.
