During the Australia tour of India 2023, both teams are scheduled to play 4 Tests, and 3 ODI. India won the BGT 2023 by 2-1. India won the first ODI and lost the second ODI match while the series decider was scheduled to play on March 22 in Chennai.
Australian captain Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat first. The Aussies made a couple of changes in their playing 11. Opener David Warner returns from his second Test elbow hairline fracture for all-rounder Cameron Green while spinner Ashton Agar replaces pacer Nathan Ellis.
The incident happen after the final ball of the 39th over when Kuldeep convinced Rohit to take a DRS call after an lbw appeal against Ashton Agar was rejected by the umpire. Though Rohit took the DRS with a smiling face after being compromised by Kuldeep, there was a sudden change in Rohit’s emotion and lashed out at Kuldeep for some reason.

As far as the match is concerned, Australia ended their inning after scoring 269 runs for 10 wickets in 49 overs. Mitchell Marsh scored the team’s highest individual run while Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav bagged 3 wickets each.
Indian opening batters Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill was at the crease while India scored 30 runs in 6 overs. The team to win the last ODI match will lift the ODI series trophy.
