Robin Uthappa is thrilled to lead the Indian team in the Hong Kong Sixes 2024 which will feature a thrilling cricket action to be played between November 01 to 03.
On this occasion, the right-handed batter Uthappa has expressed his excitement for the tournament and further added that he is honoured to be the captain of the side.
“I’m very excited to be a part of the Hong Kong Sixes 2024 and it’s an honour to lead the Indian team. Some great cricketing action coming your way on November 1, 2 & 3,” Uthappa said.
The Indian squad with the likes of Kedar Jadhav, Manoj Tiwary, Stuart Binny, Shreevats Goswami, Bharat Chipli and Shahbaz Nadeem. Chipli and Goswai also expressed his delight in representing India in the tournament.
“It’s a great feeling to represent India in the Hong Kong Sixes 2024 which ensures some nail-biting encounters and entertaining performances,” said Chipli.
“Hong Kong Sixes is a distinguished format of the game and can’t wait to represent India,” added Goswami.
“Thrilled to represent India in Hong Kong Sixes 2024 and looking forward to playing against some of the best players in the world,” said all-rounder Stuart Binny.
The Hong Kong Sixes 2024 kickstart on November 01 and will run till November 03 at the Tin Kwong Road Cricket Ground, featuring 12 teams competing in six-a-side matches. Hosts Hong Kong will take on South Africa in the first match while India will play their first match against their rivals Pakistan will also on day 01.
“Get ready all the Hong Kong cricket fans as Hong Kong Sixes is back after seven years. The competition will be played between November 1 to November 3,” said Hong Kong skipper Nizakhat Khan.
The Hong Kong Sixes tournament not only serves as a reunion of cricketing talent but also aims to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participating nations. As anticipation builds, cricket fans around the world are ready to witness some electrifying matches and memorable moments.
