The 21-year-old wicketkeeper Robin Minz has been ruled out of the IPL 2024 season due to a bike accident earlier this month.

With IPL 2024 set to begin on Friday, Gujarat Titans have roped in BR Sharath as a replacement for Robin Minz after he met with a bike accident.
Young Wicketkeeper-batter Minz was purchased by GT for INR 3.60 crore at the auction last year. He was also the first tribal player to feature in the IPL.
Minz suffered a bike accident earlier this month. Although his father revealed that it wasn’t serious as the player had only minor bruises, it looks like GT has decided to not take the risk and has acquired a replacement.
Sharath is a wicketkeeper batter who plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket and has played 28 T20Is, 20 FC matches, and 43 List A Games. He will be joining GT for INR 20 lakhs.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals Adam Zampa has withdrawn from the tournament due to personal reasons. He has made six appearances in IPL 2023 taking eight wickets with an economy rate of 8.54.
Zampa has previously played for RCB, Pune, and was the key player for Australia in their 2023 ODI World Cup-winning run in India. He will be looking to maintain his fitness ahead of the T20 World Cup.
He has represented Mumbai in 23 T20s, 26 FC matches, and 19 List-A fixtures. He joined Rajasthan for his base price of INR 20 lakhs.
Coming to the tournament, all teams have started their preparations for the tournament and all Franchises will be looking for a triumph in the upcoming tournament.
All 10 teams will be playing with each other teams in the group stage matches and the top four teams will be qualifying for the playoffs.
The winner of the first qualifier match will be directly advanced to the finals while the qualifier one loser and Eliminator round winners will be playing in qualifier 2 which will decide the second finalist of the tournament.
Both teams will be playing in the final match of the tournament to determine the title winner of the IPL 2024.
