Rishabh Pant Joins Delhi Capitals Camp
After getting clearance from BCCI’s medical team, the 26-year-old Rishabh Pant joined the Delhi Capitals camp on Wednesday.
“I’m excited and nervous at the same time. It feels like I’m going to make my debut again,” said wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant.
The 26-year-old was under a rehabilitation program at NCA after suffering several injuries during a car accident in December 2022.
Rishabh Pant has already completed his recovery progress and was seen in a practicing session alongside Hardik Pandya at the National Cricket Academy.
Despite the player providing his recovery updates through social media, it was doubtful whether he would be fit to play in IPL 2024.
But with updates from Delhi Capitals’ head coach Ricky Ponting and BCCI statement, the fans are awaiting eagerly the return of the player to his cricketing career.
Recently the franchise has welcomed the player for the camp through their official Instagram handle saying 𝘋𝘪𝘭 𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘶𝘳 𝘋𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪 𝘴𝘦, 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘙𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘩 🫶
