Indian cricketer Rinku Singh has got engaged with the Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament Priya Saroj ahead of the T20I series against England.
Rinku Singh took this big step right ahead of the T20I series of England’s tour of India 2025 which is set to start from January 22. As per the reports, Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj recently got engaged and are likely to get married soon.
Rinku’s fiancee Priya Saroj is the daughter of the three-time MP and current MLA Tufani Saroj and has quite a remarkable success in her right. At the age of 25 years, She became an MP after winning the Machhlishar constituency seat in Uttar Pradesh during the Lok Sabha elections.
The victory came after defeating heavyweight BJP candidate Saroj with a margin of 35,850 votes which made her the second youngest candidate to be elected to the lower hous of Parliament A former Supreme Court lawyer. Priya Saroj is a graduate of Delhi University.
Rinku Singh was part of India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad which secured the ultimate glory and has been included in the upcoming T20I series against England.
India are set to play a five match T20I series which will be followed by a three-match ODI series against England before the head to UAE for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.
Rinku Singh has scored only 168 runs with an average of 18.67 in the IPL 2024 season, despite his side secured their third IPL title.
Meanwhile, Rinku has represented India in 20 T20Is scoring 507 runs and amassed 55 runs in 2 ODIs.
Rinku has consistently performing with his powerful batting displays for team India and will look forward to maintain his peak performance in the T20I series against England.
The first match of the T20I series will begin on January 22 at Eden Gardens.
