The 3 matches T20I series kickstarted on February 24 with the first match at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow where India beats Sri Lanka by 62 runs.
The second and last T20I match was held in Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala where India beats Sri Lanka by 7 wickets and 6 wickets respectively.

Shreyas Iyer scored 204 runs in the three matches of the series. Iyer also became only the second batter with three consecutive unbeaten 50 plus scores in a T20I series. David Warner achieved the feat against Sri Lanka in 2019.

Rohit Sharma appeared in his 125th T20I. He surpassed Shoaib Malik (124) and has now played the most T20 internationals.
Dasun Shanaka achieved 3rd highest score by SL captain in T20I
Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka en route to scoring 74 not out against India in the 3rd T20. Shanaka achieved the third-highest score by a Sri Lankan captain in a T20I inning. Tilakaratne Dilshan scored 104 not out against Australia in 2011 and Kumar Sangakkara 78 against India in 2009.
Team India have won a world record 12 consecutive T20 matches
Rohit Sharma-led Team India won their 12th successive T20 international match, defeating Sri Lanka by six wickets in the third and final game in Dharamsala. With 12 T20I wins in a row, India is now joint-top with Afghanistan and Romania for 12 consecutive victories in T20 internationals.
