RCB vs SRH 2024 highlights: After giving a nailbiting match at Bengaluru Stadium, Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered a 25-run difference defeat on the 30th match of the IPL 2024 season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a score of 287 runs which is the highest in the IPL history to which RCB responded with 262 runs. Although they suffered defeat in home ground, Dinesh Karthik’s innings were impressive as he smashed 83 runs in 35 deliveries in the pursuit of a 287-run chase.
Coming to the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore chose to bowl first where Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head smashed an impressive score of 76 runs by the end of the powerplay during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 15 at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Batting first, the Hyderabad openers’ partnership has pressured Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bengaluru Stadium. Travis Head scored 52 runs on 21 deliveries while Abhishek scored 23 by the end of the power play.

Heinrich Klaasen also adopted an aggressive batting style smashing 67 runs on 31 deliveries. Travis Head was dismissed by Lockie Ferguson after his 102 runs in 41 deliveries which included 9 fours and 8 sixes.
The Economy of RCB bowlers went past 10. With Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad’s impressive scores of 32 and 37 runs, SRH was able to post 287 runs in 20 overs.
Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis opened for RCB putting a score of 79/0 in the powerplay. After Virat’s dismissal, the RCB’s batting lineup started to collapse.
Virat Kohli was dismissed for 42 runs he scored in 20 deliveries including 6 fours and two sixes. Faf du Plessis smashed fifty but with the dismissal of Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar for 7 and 9 runs, RCB started to crumble on SRH’s bowling attack.
Faf du Plessis was sent out with 62 runs by Pat Cummins where RCB was down to four for 121 runs. After Chauhan’s dismissal, Mahipal Lomror joined with Dinesh Karthik to put up a good partnership score.
Dinesh Karthik was impressive with 83 runs on 35 deliveries while Anuj Rawat scored 25 runs in 14 deliveries. Finally, Bangalore scored 262 runs for seven wickets and lost the match by 25 runs difference.
