RCB vs GT 2024 Highlights: Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered their fourth victory in the IPL 2024 tournament against Gujarat Titans on May 04 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
An impressive bowling spell from Mohammad Siraj, Yash Dayal, and Vijaykumar Vyshak and fireworks from du Plessis helped the side for a quick victory. With this victory, RCB jumped to 7th position in the IPL 2024 points table.

Coming to the match, RCB won the toss and opted to bowl. Siraj dismissed GT openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill for 1 and 2 runs respectively, and Sai Sudharsan’s dismissal for 6 runs by Green Gujarat Titans was down to the last seven wickets scoring on 19 runs.
Shahrukh Khan and David Miller’s scores of 37 and 30 helped the side, but their dismissal put the side back in check as they lost 5 wickets for 87 runs. Rahul Tewatia scored 35 runs before being dismissed by Yash Dayal.
Yash Dayal, Siraj, and Vijaykumar bagged two wickets each while Green and Karn Sharma picked one wicket each. With Rashid Khan and Vijay Shankar scoring 18 and 10 runs, GT scored 147 runs losing all 10 wickets in the last over.
With a target of 148 runs, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis opened for RCB where they scored 42 and 64 runs respectively. They had a partnership score of 92 runs for the first wicket while Noor Ahmad picked the wicket of Will Jacks for 1 run. Joshua Little bagged three wickets in the middle order to give hope of victory for the side in the low-score encounter.
He dismissed Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, and Cameron Green for single-digit scores while Kohli set to bat slow and steady. With Dinesh Karthik’s 21 and Swapnil Singh’s 15 runs, RCB scored 152 runs losing 6 wickets in the14th over of the game.
Joshua Little’s four-wicket haul went in vain as RCB won the match by four wickets.
