RCB is set to launch a new kit in the unboxing event on March 19. As the 17th edition of the tournament approaches, many teams will likely launch new kits for the new season.
Over the years, we have seen teams unique jerseys made up of recycled material to sporting jerseys for various causes. With lots of excitement about their new jersey, have a look at RCB’s jersey since the inaugural season of IPL.
Particularly, RCB has been using an eco-friendly jersey to spread the message of keeping the planet clean and healthy, also sported a blue jersey in support of frontline workers, who were helping during the COVID pandemic.
RCB is set to bring back the unboxing event at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. They started the tradition in 2023 which was a massive success, to say the least.
It is said the former captain Virat Kohli is set to make an appearance in the event, but neither the franchise nor the player confirmed it.

On this occasion, only a few teams have unveiled their jersey for the upcoming season and the remaining teams will reveal their kits before the tournament starts. Some teams will continue to use kits from last season as all teams sported unique looks.
With Chennai Super Kings being the first team to unveil the kit for the upcoming season, Mumbai Indians, and Sunrisers unveiled their new kit on March 07. Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings have not unveiled their kit until now.
The 17th edition of the IPL tournament is set to commence on March 22 where 10 teams will participate. Regardless of signing new players for the squad during the IPL 2024 auction, many players have withdrawn from the tournament due to injury concerns.
Franchises have been looking for replacement players for the vacant spots before the start of the tournament.
