The 23-year-old right-handed bowler Ravi Bishnoi picked a four-wicket haul during the match against Zimbabwe crumbling the batting lineup on July 06 at Harare.
After the T20 World Cup triumph, a young team led by Shubman Gill is set to play in a five-match T20I series on India’s tour of Zimbabwe. While speaking in the toss, Gill said, “We will field first. I think it looks like a good surface. It won’t change much later. It has been a long coming. We won an ICC event after 11 years. You always have some expectations from yourself. We have three debutants. Sharma, Jurel, and Parag make their debuts.”

In the first T20I match, India chose to bowl where the visitors started attacking from the start of the innings. With Mukesh Kumar dismissed Innocent Kaia on a golden duck, Ravi Bishnoi picked his first wicket dismissing Brian Bennett for 23 runs in the 6th over. Despite losing two wickets Zimbabwe scored 40 runs losing in the powerplay.
After a regular fall in wickets, Zimbabwe scored 115 runs by the end of 20 overs losing 9 wickets. Ravi Bishnoi picked four wickets in four overs including two maiden overs. He conceded only 13 runs with an economy of 3.20.
Meanwhile, Washington Sundar picked the wickets of Dion Myers and Masakadza in four overs and conceded 11 runs only with an economy of 2.80. Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan both picked a wicket each. Madhevere, Brian Bennett, Dion Myers, and Clive Madande contributed with the bat for Zimbabwe in Harare.
