The Rajasthan Royals’ social media handle has posted an image trolling RCB Men’s after the latter’s side won the WPL 2024 season.

Rajasthan Royals began banter moments after RCB women won the maiden title on March 17. They took to social media to congratulate Smriti Mandhana and co for ending RCB trophy drought.
They trolled RCB Men’s side for not winning the title for 16 years in the IPL, highlighting how the women’s side did it.

With some fans seeing the funny side of the content, many fans were furious and backed RCB to respond to the meme on the field during the 17th edition of the IPL.
Coming to the finals, DC won the toss and opted to bat where they scored 113 runs. Shafali Verma was the highest score for DC posting 44 runs on 27 deliveries. Shreyanka Patil picked four wickets and Sophie Molineux bagged three wickets.
With the target of 114 runs, RCB started their innings where the top order had a good start to lead the side to victory.
Smriti Mandhana scored 31 while Sophie Devine scored 32 runs. With Ellyse Perry’s 35 runs and Richa Ghosh’s 17 runs, RCB won the match by 8 wickets at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Royal Challengers Bangalore has some of the best batting stars in the line-up. They made it into finals thrice in 2009, 2011, and 2016 but finished up as runners.
Faf du Plessis will be leading RCB in the upcoming IPL season as Virat Kohli will return to competitive action and look forward to winning the title.
Virat Kohli also celebrated the RCB’s WPL triumph on Sunday, when he joined the women’s team through video call.
RCB is set to start the IPL 2024 campaign on the opening day of the season where they face reigning champions CSK in the first match of the IPL 2024 schedule at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.
