During the match against Lucknow Super Giants, CSK’s opener batsman Rachin Ravindra was sent out on a golden duck by Mohsin Khan on the first ball of the second over on Friday Clash at Lucknow Stadium. With dismissing Rachin Ravindra, Lucknow had a positive start in the match.

Batting first, Ajinkya Rahane and Rachin Ravindra opened for Chennai Super Kings where the first over was bowled by Matt Henry. CSK captain Ruturaj came to bat and scored 17 runs before being dismissed by Yash Thakur in the fifth over of their innings.
Ravindra Jadeja joined Rahane in the field and helped the side to score 51 runs by the end of the powerplay.

KL Rahul scored 82 runs on 53 deliveries including 9 fours and 3 sixes with a strike rate of 154.72 while Nicholas Pooran smashed 23* runs in 12 deliveries.
Mustafizur Rahman and Matheesha Pathirana bagged a wicket each for CSK but the visitors suffered defeat with 8 wicket difference.
