Lucknow Super Giants opening batter Quinton de Kock scored his 22nd IPL half-century against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 2 in M.Chinnaswamy Stadium.

As per the IPL 2024 schedule, LSG are scheduled to face RCB on April 2 to play the 15th league game of the season. Ahead of the game, LSG played 2 league games in IPL 2024 and won only one and positioned in 6th position in the IPL 2024 points table.
On the other hand, RCB played 3 games and managed to register only one victory and was positioned in the 9th spot in the points table.
During the clash, LSG opening batter Quinton de Kock secured his 22nd IPL fifty in the 12th over of the inning and helped his team to cross the 100 runs mark. During the achievement, QDK also became the batter to surpass the 3000 IPL runs mark.
Speaking of the match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bowl where Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul opened the innings for LSG.
the opening duo made a decent start and pushed the team to score 53 runs for the 1st wicket. Maxwell broke the partnership by dismissing LSG captain KL Rahul in the final over of the 1st powerplay.
Soon, Devdutt Padikkal also lost his wicket for just 6 runs. Following a couple of early dismissals, Quinton de Kock took the responsibilities in hand and made a steady inning from one end.
Quinton on joining hands with Marcus Stoinis made a 56-run stand for the next wicket. Maxwell strikes against and dismissed Marcus Stoinis for 24 runs in the 14th over.
As of now, LSG scored 129 runs for 3 wickets loss at the end of 14 overs where QDK and Pooran stand at the crease with 70 and 0 runs respectively.
