During the first-class match, Prasidh Krishna walked off the field after bowling 14.5 overs in the first innings. Vijaykumar Vyshak bowled the last ball of the over. Prasidh bagged the wickets of Manan Hingrajia and Siddharth Desai before walking out of the ground.

Prasidh will not take any further part in the match as a player needs around four to six weeks to recover from a quadriceps injury. He will be receiving the treatment under the supervision of Karnataka medical staff.

He will also get in touch with the support staff of the India A team, presently in Ahmedabad for their two-day match against England Lions.

Prasidh Krishna was part of the squad in the two-test match in South Africa where he made his Test debut. He bagged only two wickets and had an average of 65.

Prasidh Krishna was part of the T20I series against Australia where he set the record for the worst bowling figures by an Indian in the shortest format.

During the third T20I of the series at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, Australia chased down 223 runs in the last ball to win by five wickets.

Prasidh Krishan was chosen to bowl the last over where he had to defend 21 runs in the final over. India is currently playing in the T20I series against Afghanistan on home ground where the visitors lead the series 1-0.

With Mohammed Shami yet to recover from his injury, the India squad will have Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, and Avesh Khan are the front-line pacers.

India will be playing a five-test match series against England starting on January 25 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
