Pakistan Cricket Board has roped their former fast bowler Azhar Mahmood as the head coach of the Pakistan men’s cricket team for the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand.

The New Zealand cricket team is scheduled to tour Pakistan to play 5 T20I matches between April 18 and April 27 across 2 different venues in Pakistan.
As per PAK vs NZ 2024 Schedule, the first match will be played on April 18 in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. Ahead of the series, PCB named Babar Azam as their new white ball captain. Notably, the Kiwis’ team is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on April 14.
Wahab Riaz has been appointed as the senior team manager, while Mohammad Yousuf will be the batting coach. Saeed Ajmal, who was the bowling coach on the last tours of Australia and New Zealand, will continue as the spin bowling coach.
