The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to host New Zealand in a five-match T20I series in April as a preparation for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 later this year.
Pakistan set to Host New Zealand T20I series
An official confirmed that the discussion between the Pakistan Board and New Zealand Cricket to finalize the dates and venues for the series probably which is probably set to by played between April 13 and 24.
The official has confirmed that the series is bought in as preparation for the T20 World Cup this year. He also stated that the T20I matches will be staged in Lahore and Rawalpindi as Karachi will be hosting a Women’s series between Pakistan and West Indies.
Recently, Pakistan and New Zealand played a five-match T20I series last month where the Blackcaps won the series 4-1.
Pakistan team will be playing in a T20I series against Afghanistan, New Zealand, and England ahead of the World Cup in June in the USA and West Indies after the completion of the finals of the PSL 2024 schedule.
Pakistan will be playing their first T20 World Cup 2024 match against the United States on June 06, at Grand Prairie Stadium.
