Nitish Reddy has been ruled out from India’s squad for the ongoing T20I series against England, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Saturday. The all-rounder Nitish Reddy suffered a side Strain in the practice session in Chennai.
Suryakumar Yadav confirmed that Washington Sundar and Dhruv Jurel replace the injured duo of Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy in India’s Playing 11 for the second T20I against England in England.
Meanwhile, Rinku Singh who sustained a lower back Spasm while fielding in the first T20I of the series, has been ruled out of the second and Third T20I of the five-match series.

He will be headed to the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru for further management. Rinku Singh who sustained a lower back spasm while fielding in the first T20I of the series, has been ruled out of the second and third T20Is of the five-match series.
While being progress is being monitored closely by the medical team of the BCCI, the Indian selectors have been included the all-round duo of Shivam Dube and Ramandeep Singh in the squad for the remainder of the series.
“We’ll look to bowl first. Looks a good track, there was a little bit of dew yesterday, hoping the wicket will be better in the evening.”
“It looks good, it looks hard, hope it stays the same. We want to stick to the basics and have the same approach we had in the last game in all the departments,” Suryakumar Yadav said at the toss.
“Really looking forward to the game. (Fielding) That’s one thing which brings everyone together, brings a lot of energy and positivity. Nitish Kumaris ruled out, Rinku will recover in one or two games. We have Washington Sundar, local boy and Dhruv Jurel in place of Rinku,” Suryakumar added.
