Mumbai Indians Captain Hardik Pandya was sent out on a golden duck by Naveen-ul-Haq right after the dismissal of Tilak Varma on a run out during the IPL 2024 match against Lucknow on April 30 at Ekana Sports City.
Hardik Pandya has been in poor form since the start of the 2024 season. His highest score is 46 runs which he scored during the match against Delhi Capitals on April 27.
With the dismissal of Hardik, MI lost four wickets scoring only 28 runs before the end of powerplay. Lucknow and Mumbai compete reaching the playoffs in the 2024 season.
As a result, both teams have eyed victory in the clash at Lucknow Stadium. But things didn’t go for Mumbai as planned as they struggled to score runs and keep wickets.
Mumbai has been suffering back-to-back defeats as they registered only three victories out of nine matches they played. The MI’s batting collapse came during the day when India’s T20 World Cup squad was announced.
