The image showed his mother whom the cricketer often credited for her crucial support in his cricketing career, wearing the T20 World Cup winners’ medal.
Having lost his father in 2020, Siraj’s gesture was a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards his mother, highlighting the important role she played in his life and career.

Notably, India returned home on Thursday, July 04 on a chartered flight after being trapped in Barbados for three days due to a Hurricane threat at Barbados. After arriving at Delhi airport, the Indian cricket team got a grand welcome in Delhi with fans gathered at the airport to see the World Champions.
