Mohammed Siraj was at his best on Saturday morning in Adelaide, despite he went wicketless in the seven-over from the start on Day 02 to the drink break in the Pink-ball test of Border Gavaskar Trophy.
In the 36th over of the contest, Mohammed Siraj bowled a full-length delivery that hit Marnus Labuschagne’s pads and Siraj did not even turn back and appeal as he began celebrating, expecting umpire Richard Illingworth to give it out.
However, the onfield umpire remains unmoved. Siraj tried to convince Rohit Sharma to take a DRS. The India captain however, turned his request down after a lengthy discussion with his teammates.

Siraj was evident as he bowled threatening and lengths without any success. Siraj had a word with Labuschagne and the two were involved in a staring battle in the middle before the drinks break.
Siraj did not get his lengths right on Friday evening offering very little support to Jasprit Bumrah. However, on saturday morning, Siraj bowled more fuller and attacked the stump, more often than not.
He even got a couple of good length deliveries to jump off the pitch and trouble the Australian batters. Bumrah made his attacking spell in his short spell on Saturday morning that produced two wickets, Steve Smith and Nathan McSweeney.
Meanwhile, Bumrah picked three wickets and Nitish Reddy picked Marnus Labuschagne for 64 While Travis Head smashed 50+ runs during the tea break on day 02.
Batting first, India got bowled out for 180 runs with Mitchell Starc picking 6 wickets. Nitish Reddy was the highest run scorer for India picking up 42 runs. Australia has a dominant position with 86 runs for 1 wicket by the end of day 01 at Adelaide Oval.
