Mitchell Santner Recovers from COVID19
The Black Caps are scheduled to fly out of New Zealand on Sunday but Santer’s result forces him to remain at home ahead of three T20I and three ODIS against Ireland later this month.
New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Tom Latham is leading the team in ODIs against Ireland. Following the ODI series, Santner will take over the captaincy from Latham, who will return to New Zealand along with Henry Nicholls, Matt Henry, Will Young and Jacob Duffy after the ODI leg.
