The former Australia bowler Mick Lewis has joined Yorkshire as bowling coach on a three-year deal following the footprints of former Essex head coach Anthony McGrath.
The 50-year-old Mick Lewis has been at Chelmsford since 2022, during which time he worked with players such as Jamie Porter and Sam Cook and helped guide the team to three top-four finishes in the County Championship and a run to the Vitality Blast Finals day.
Anthony McGrath has returned to Yorkshire to take over the head coach role in October 2024. However, Mick Lewis will begin his new role at the end of February, ahead of Yorkshire’s pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi in March.
