The match attracts more negative comments than positive particularly right after former England captain Michael Vaughan lauded Babar Azam as the best batter in the world across formats.
Playing his 44th Test match, Babar Azam scored a much-needed century in Pakistan’s first innings which marked his 8th Test ton.
In the first Test match, winning the toss England opted to bat first and posted a total of 657 runs for 10 wickets where Zak Crawley, Duckett, Ollie Pope, and Harry Brook scored centuries on the first day. In replying Pakistan scored 579 after losing all their players.
Babar Azam remained the team’s top run-getter after scoring 136 runs from 168 balls before being dismissed by Will Jacks. In a manner of praising Babar Azam’s century, Michael Vaughan posted a tweet that draws the attention of many cricket fans with both positive and negative comments.
