    Mayank Agarwal has smashed a 45-ball century for Karnataka to secure a 10-wicket victory during the Vijay Hazare 2024-25 trophy match against Arunachal.

    Mayank Agarwal with his sensational form scored 304 runs in four matches including two tons so far in this campaign. Along with Abhinav Manohar, he led the side to a fourth victory for the side.

    Mayank smashed an unbeaten 100 off just 45 balls against Arunachal Pradesh, leading Karnataka to a commanding 10-wicket victory. Chasing a target of 167 runs, Karnataka achieved the total in 14.2 overs finishing at 171/0.

    The openers razed down the target in 14.2 overs with Manohar scoring four fours and many sixes included. Mayank also took his maiden List A wicket, the first of his 117-match career.

    Mayan has showed aggression and precision over the innings with seven fours and seven sixes. His strike rate of 222.22 highlighted his dominance. partnering him at the other end, Abhinav Manohar contributed fiery 66* from 41 balls, ensuring Karnataka’s openers remained unchallenged throughout.

    This was Mayank’s 16th century in List A cricket. Adding to his 23 fifties, he has amassed 5269 runs at an impressive average of over 47 from 117 matches. Mayank continues to be a key figure in Indian domestic cricket.

    Meanwhile Mayank’s 139* had it all including putting on a 51-run tenth wicket partnership, which took them over the line in a thrilling contest, that helped Karnataka maintain their place on the points table.

    A week back, Anmolpreet Singh had set a new record in Vijay Hazare Trophy, smashing a century off just 35 balls. Mayank now stands fifth on the list of fastest Vijay Hazare centuries. Anmolpreet’s century also came against Arunachal Pradesh.
