Key Players Unsold in IPL 2025 Auction: The IPL 2025 Mega Auction came to a conclusion on November 25 with Rishabh Pant being the most expensive buy in IPL history who joined Lucknow Super Giants for INR 27 crore.
The IPL 2025 Mega Auction was a historic event with franchises spending Rs 639.15 crore on 182 players.
Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer became the second costliest buy who joined PBKS for a price of INR 26.75 crore while Ravichandran Ashwin will be returning to the Yellow Army after 10 years.
On the other hand, the event featured 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest player to be bought in the auction, roped in by Rajasthan Royals.
With many players being sold, several top players have failed to draw any bid and went unsold during the IPL 2025 mega auctions.
Players like David Warner, Kane Williamson, Shardul Thakur, Daryl Mitchell and Jonny Bairstow, Piyush Chawla, Mustafizur Rahman, Mujeeb ur Rahman has failed to attract bid in the IPL 2025 auction.
