MI’s bowling all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar left his side’s bowling coach, Lasith Malinga stunned during the practice session at nets at the Wankhede Stadium ahead of MI’s clash against CSK.
The son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has featured in only four IPL matches so far after joining Mumbai Indians in the year 2021.

Malinga was left perplexed and pointed out the problem of MI having “too many Pace bowlers.” After making his debut in IPL 2023, he bagged three wickets and 13 runs across the games.
The 24-year-old had been benched for the side in his 3 year stay with the franchise having been picked for 30 lakhs by MI during the IPL 2022 auction.
The Video received positive reactions from MI fans, hailing for the youngsters to be given a chance during the IPL 2024 campaign.
Arjun has been running a decent form in domestic cricket form while playing for Goa where he bagged 21 wickets and scored 481 runs across his 13 appearances. He bagged 26 wickets in his T20 appearances but scored only 98 runs with the bat.
Coming to the tournament, Mumbai Indians have secured only two victories out of five matches they played. They secured victory in the matches against Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore while suffering defeat in the matches against Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals.
Currently, Mumbai Indians have secured 7th position in the IPL 2024 points table. MI will be playing their next match against Chennai Super Kings on April 14 at Wankhede Stadium.
