IPL 2024 RCB vs KKR Highlights: Kolkata Knight Riders who had a positive start in the IPL 2024 campaign, registered their second victory during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Venkatesh Iyer’s Fifty helped KKR to win the match by 7 wickets
As per the IPL 2024 Schedule, Royal Challengers was scheduled to clash in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 at Bengaluru. With both sides having one victory irrespective of the matches they played, KKR managed to secure victory by seven wickets.
Winning the toss, Kolkata Knight Riders chose to bowl. Virat Kohli and du Plessis opened for RCB where the latter was dismissed by Harshit Rana for 8 runs.
Virat Kohli had an impressive innings smashing 83* runs on 59 deliveries including 4 fours and 4 sixes. Cameron Green, Maxwell, and Dinesh Karthik made their contributions with scores and finally, RCB scored 182 runs losing 6 wickets on 20 overs.
Harshit Rana and Andre Russell bagged two wickets each against RCB. With the target of 183, Kolkata started their innings where Philip Salt and Sunil Narine opened for the side scoring 30 and 47 runs respectively.
With Venkatesh Iyer’s fifty and Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 39 runs, Kolkata was able to pull out a victory in the 17th over losing 3 wickets.
