Earlier a source reportedly informed TOI that the couple will be getting married on March 14-15 in an intimate ceremony in Goa.
Bumrah opted out of the fourth and final Test against England, apparently due to this reason. India won the Test to clinch the series 3-1 and enter the final of the World Test Championship.
Sources had said at the time that the right-arm fast bowler had pulled out citing ‘personal reasons’ and had sought permission from the Indian cricket board (BCCI), which gave him permission to withdraw.

Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan get married on March 15, 2021 at Goa. According to reports, the wedding took place in the presence of just 20 people, and no mobile phones were allowed during the ceremony.
A report claims that reception has been scheduled for a later date, which isn’t yet known. The report in TOI states that BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, secretary Jay Shah, and Team India head coach Ravi Shastri could attend the reception.
It isn’t yet known whether Virat Kohli and other players of the Indian team would be able to attend the reception ceremony.
