The 29-year-old initially did not reveal the reason behind his sudden departure from the Asia Cup 2023. Later, Bumrah took to his social media handle to announce exciting news to his fans.
In the post, they also disclosed the name of their child as Angad. Bumrah and Ganesan got married in Goa back in March 2021.

Jasprit Bumrah after leading the Indian T20I team against Ireland was drafted into the Asia Cup 2023 squad. India who played their first match of the tournament against Pakistan scored 266 runs for 10 wickets loss whereas Bumrah scored 16 runs and remains the 3rd highest run scorer for India.
Before exposing his bowling skills, the match was interrupted by rain and ended with no result. Team India will play their second game of the Asia Cup 2023 on September 4 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele.
