Jadeja Handover Captaincy to MS Dhoni
Ahead of IPL 2022, MS Dhoni steps down from captaincy and handover the duties to Ravindra Jadeja and continued to play as the team member. Jadeja didn’t give the expected start and struggles to lead the CSK towards a brighter side.
CSK who is currently in the 9th position of the IPL 2022 points table has won just 2 games out of 8 they played.
Jadeja who struggles to lead CSK also struggles to perform well with the bat and ball. Being an all-rounder Jadeja struggles to score with the bat and fails to pick wickets.
Jadeja scored 112 runs and picked only 5 wickets in the 8 matches he played sofar. To get rid of this lead patch Jadeja might decides to step down from the captaincy role.
Regarding this CSK official site said: Ravindra Jadeja has decided to relinquish captaincy to focus and concentrate more on his game and has requested MS Dhoni to lead CSK.
MS Dhoni has accepted to lead CSK in the larger interest and to allow Jadeja to focus on his game.
