In Punjab Kings’ previous clash which was played against Gujarat Titans on April 4 in Ahmedabad, PBKS won the game by 3 wickets and registered their 2nd victory of the season.
Though Shashank Singh won the Player of the Match award for his unbeaten 61 off 29, Ashutosh Sharma grabbed the attention of many by scoring 31 runs at a strike rate of 182.35 as an impact player.
For his impressive performance, PBKS roped him in the playing11 for their clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Pat Cummins led SRH who scripted a record-breaking knock against Mumbai Indians on March 8 in Hyderabad showed a little bit of inconsistency this season so far.
SRH managed to win only 2 games out of 4 they played so far. On the other hand, PBKS also registered only 2 wins out of 4 they played.
