India Vs Bangladesh 3rd ODI Squad: Left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav has been added to the Indian squad for the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh scheduled to play on December 10 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

India have already lost the 3-match ODI series of their Bangladesh tour 2022 after facing a humiliating defeat in the first 2 ODI. Apart from the defeat, India faces another blow in the form of injuries.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma injured his thumb while fielding in the 2nd ODI and left the field in middle. In addition to him, Deepak Chahar sustained a left hamstring strain and Kuldeep Sen was hit with stiffness back.
A BCCI statement states that India Captain Rohit Sharma suffered a blow to his thumb in the second over while fielding in the 2nd ODI. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him and he underwent scans at a local hospital in Dhaka.
Indian head coach Rahul Dravid earlier confirmed the news of the unavailability of Chahar, Kuldeep Sen, and Rohit Sharma for the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh and also mentioned that Rohit’s availability for the Test series still remains doubtful.
He(Rohit) has flown to Mumbai for specialist consultation and will miss the final ODI. A call on his availability for the upcoming Test series will be taken later.
Fast bowler Kuldeep Sen complained of stiffness in his back after the first ODI. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him and he was advised rest from the 2nd ODI. Kuldeep has been diagnosed with a stress injury and is ruled out of the series.
Fellow fast bowler Deepak Chahar sustained a left hamstring strain during the 2nd ODI and is also ruled out of the series. Both Kuldeep and Deepak will now report to NCA for further management of their injuries.
The All-India Senior Selection Committee has added Kuldeep Yadav to India’s squad for the third and final ODI, the BCCI statement added.
