BCCI has retained the same squad for the second test of the Bangladesh tour of India 2024 set to be played between September 27 and October 1 in Green Park, Kanpur.
During the Bangladesh tour of India 2024 a total of two tests were scheduled to be played between September 19 and October 1 across two different venues in India.
This test series was very crucial for both teams as these two tests will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.
The test between IND vs BAN grabbed the attention of many as India was playing their longest format nearly after a gap of seven months. India played their last test series against England in January – March 2024 which India won by 4-1.
India won the first test by 280 runs and took a lead in the series. Bangladesh need to win the second game of the series to avoid a series defeat. With nearly five days ahead of the second game, BCCI have announced their squad for the Kanpur test.
The Men’s Selection Committee has retained the same squad for the second Test while the Indian cricket team is more likely set to play with the same playing 11.
