After struggling to adapt to batting conditions in the United States, India has smoothly transitioned to West Indies, where they secured a 47-run win over Afghanistan in their first Super 8s stage match in Barbados.
The Cricketing fans will be looking for an impressive combination of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who hasn’t been at their best so far, and key contributions from Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya in the batting department. They also hope for a huge score from Spin hitter Shivam Dube during the match against Bangladesh.
India will likely retain the same playing 11 from their previous match. With an impressive form from Indian bowlers, the men in blues will showcase another strong bowling performance in the tournament.
On the other hand, Bangladesh will be looking for a stunning performance against India after their defeat in the Super 8s Match against Australia on Friday clash.
While speaking in the pre-match conference, “We’ve always had depth as a team, I believe. But yeah, these conditions maybe suit us more because we can afford to play two or three spinners at times. So that I believe can be our best team. That is our strength. That has been our strength. So yeah, it feels like because somebody like Axar [Patel] playing at eight gives you a lot of confidence because he can bat and he’s bowling really well at the moment. So, it does give you a lot of options,” said Vikram Rathour.
