IND vs BAN 2nd Test Playing 11: India is scheduled to play in the second match of the home test series against Bangladesh on September 27 at Kanpur. The hosts currently secured the top position in the WTC points table and will be aiming to maintain that position.
The toss at Kanpur has been delayed due to a wet outfield. As a result, the toss is at 10 AM and there is a change in the session timings.
First session – 10:30 – 12:30. Lunch 12:30 – 13:10. Second session – 13:10 – 15:10. Tea – 15:10 – 15:30. Third session – 15:30 – 17:30. An extra 30 mins can be added.
India won the toss and chose to bowl. While speaking at the toss Rohit Sharma said, “We are going to bowl first. The pitch seems a bit soft, so we have to make early inroads and we want our three seamers to make use of it.”
“We didn’t start well with the bat in the first game, but we found a way to score and the bowlers did the job. I expect no difference here (fight from Bangladesh), we will be challenged but we have the experience to bounce back.”
On the other hand, Najmul Hossain Shanto said, “Happy to bat first, we wanted to bat anyway. As a batter if we get a start we have to score well. Hope our batters can score big today.”
“Looks like a good wicket to bat on. New ball batting will be key though. Two changes. Nahid and Taskin aren’t playing. Taijul and Khaled are in.”
