The heated exchange between Virat Kohli and Sam Konstas during the fourth test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy has drawn attention which prompted a review by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
According to Cricket.com.au, the incident happend when both players walked into each other on the field, leading to verbal exchange.
Australia opener Usman Khawaja stepped in to try and solve the tension, even placing an arm around Kohli in an attempt to clam things down and umpire Michael Gough also intervened to sort out the situation.

The ICC is now to review to exchange match refree Andy Pycroft expected to look into the matter. The incident has caugh attention of ICC for potential violation of the Code of Conduct, specifically regarding inappropriate Physical contact.
The relevant clause of the Code prohibits any form of reckless or deliberate physical contact between players, and walking or running into another player—whether it be intentional or negligent—could result in sanctions.
If the matter is judged as level two offense, either Kohli or Konstas could receive three or four demerits points, which could their disciplinary record.
After the incident, Konstas had impressed with 60-run knock off 65 balls during his debut innings. His knock included 6 fours and two sixes, but his innings was eventually ended by Ravindra Jadeja.
Konstas scored 18 runs off an over by Bumrah and a total of 34 in a spell. His knock helped Australia to score 112 runs which is the most runs in the first session of Boxing Day test history.
