The International Cricket Council (ICC) has congratulated former Zimbabwe cricketer and current umpire Andy Pycroft for umpiring his 100th test during the fourth test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
Pycroft has played three tests and 20 ODIs for Zimbabwe between 1983 and 1992 before starting his umpiring career. He has joined the list of umpires who have served as the match referees in 100 tests.
He has become the fourth match referee after Sri Lanka’s Ranjan Madugalle, New Zealand’s Jeff Crowe and England’s Chris Broad to officiate 100 tests.
