    Harry Brook’s fireworks Continues With Second Successive Ton at Wellington

    Harry Brook has smashed back-to-back centuries during England’s tour of New Zealand in 2024. During the first innings of the second test, Brook arrived in the crease after the visitors lost four wickets early.

    Starting his innings, he unleashed master-class attacks and went on to score 123 runs in 115 balls, with 11 fours and five sixes and a strike rate of 106.95.

    During the first test Harry Brook smashed a fine 171 in christchurch helping the side to stabilize the innings and secured a 8 wicket victory for the side.

    After 23 tests, Brook scored 2225 runs at an average of 61.80 and a strike rate of 88.53. He has eight centuries and nine fifties.

    Away from home, he scored 1464 runs in 10 tests and 16 innings at an average of 91.50 and a strike rate of 96.50 with seven centuries and three fifties.

    At home, Brook has played 761 runs in 13 tests and 21 innings at an average of 38.05 with a century and six fifties.

    Brook’s record in New Zealan in incredible, having made 623 runs in four matches at an average of 103.83  with three centuries and two fifties in six innings.

    Nathan Smith picked four wickets while William O’Rourke picked 3 wickets for New Zealand.

    England scored 280 runs by the end of the first innings while New Zealand lost 5 wickets for 86 runs by the end of day 01 and New Zealand trail by 194 runs.

    Brydon Carse picked two wickets for England while Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson and Ben Stokes picked a wicket each at Basin Reserve.
