GT vs CSK 2024 Highlights; Gujarat Titans Beat Chennai by 35 Runs

GT vs CSK 2024 Highlights: Gujarat Titans secured a 35-run victory in the IPL 2024 match against Chennai Super Kings on May 10 at Narendra Modi Stadium.

After setting up a target of 232 runs, Gujarat Titans forced Chennai to conclude their inning with a score of 196 runs. With this victory, Gujarat Titans moved to the 8th position of the IPL 2024 points table.

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan’s impressive knock and bagging early wickets helped the side to win the match by 35 runs difference. Shubman Gill was named the Player of the Match.

While Speaking in the post-match conference, Shubman Gill said, “Yeah just a cramp, nothing else (reason for being off the field). When you’ve got 100k people supporting you, becomes easier. Just the freeness of it. When we were batting out there, we didn’t have any targets in mind.”

“We’re just maximizing the opportunities in front of us. We have a good camaraderie between us. Even last year we batted a lot together. Lots of fun batting with him.”

“In terms of numbers, definitely it is (best opening partnership for GT). Mohit Bhai has done this for us in the last couple of years. Even last year, his bowling was a revelation. Even this year, two or three bad games can happen to anyone. At one point we thought 250 was there for the taking.”

“In the last 2-3 overs they bowled well also. Just had a feeling we were 10-15 short – not in terms of the match but in terms of the NRR going forward,” concluded Shubman Gill.
