Afghanistan bowler A Ghazanfar created a record to become the first bowler to have taken the second ODI fifer in 50-over formats as a young teenager during the 3rd ODI match against Zimbabwe.

While bowling first, Afghanistan skittled the hosts out for just 127 runs in 30.1 overs with Ghazanfar’s brilliant performance. The youngster registered figures of 10-0-33-5.
He dismissed batters like Joylord Gumbie, Ben Curran, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, and Newman Nyamhuri.
Sean Williams who scored a gritty knock of 60 runs off 61 balls in which he had smashed six fours and three sixes and except him all the other Zimbabwe batters failed to perform.
Ghazanfar has 21 wickets in 50-over format till is yet to make his debut in T20 league cricket he has taken 29 wickets after playing in 16 matches and that also includes two four-fers.
After his dream start to his international career, Mumbai Indians also roped in the bowler for a price of INR 4.80 crore in the IPL 2025 auction.
The first game of the two match test series will begin on December 26 at Queens Sports Club.
